Who doesn’t love a little sparkle during the holidays? Come December, all I want to wear is sequins, faux fur, satin and velvet. I love the textures of party dressing, but sometimes it can be hard to rewear these pieces or even style them to begin with! Holiday fashion tends to stand out on it’s own, so how do you accessorize and add your personality to something loud like sequins? Well that’s exactly why I’ve written this post!

I bought this matte sequin romper for my brother’s New Year’s Eve wedding two years ago, and have been trying to find a way to wear it again ever since. By adding different accessories and layers, this romper can make a couple different looks, for whatever the occasion!

Look 1:

For this look I’ve added a black turtleneck underneath the romper, which is not only practical for the colder months, but also makes it look super chic! I’ve added fishnets to continue the somewhat Parisian vibe from the turtleneck, and heeled booties to give it a little somethin’ somethin’.

As I previously mentioned, I love velvet, which is why I’ve included this burgundy velvet blazer with the romper for this look. I love an oversized blazer, so this one is actually from the men’s department, but a fitted blazer would be just as cute. The thigh-high boots add a bit of allure to the look and keep your legs warm at the same time.

I hope I’ve given you some inspiration on how to style your holiday pieces for wear over and over again!
